T-Swizzle

It is no secret, I love Taylor Swift. Her music is catchy and is perfect to sing along to in the car. Plus everything I see of her reinforces my perception of her as a hilarious and overall impressive teenager. Plus she lives in Tennessee so that's pretty cool too!

At the CMT awards, which I happened to miss (dang!), she decided to try out her hip hop career. I'd say she's pretty good, yo!

Two by two update!

In an earlier post, I talked about the awesomeness of tandem bikes. Today, thanks to the emails I get from Daily Candy (which I highly recommend signing up for), I learned about a new awesome variety of bike. This:

Okay, so this is cool. This would work for our wedding get-away bike! Matt could pedal away and I could just chill out in the giant bucket in the back! And how cute is it?! I could definitely see a "Just Married" sign hanging from the back of the bucket!

Our first wedding gift

A few weeks back we got our very first wedding gift! Roy and Joanie Bibbens are on top of their game and beat everyone else to be our first gift givers --Thank you!

They generously got us a setting of our china. We were so excited that we documented the occasion...

Two by two

My grandma used to have an old tandem bike that Megan and I used to play with every summer when we went to visit her in Kansas. I randomly thought about all the fun we had riding it around the neighborhood. (You'd have to ask Megan how fun it was...I'm pretty sure she did most of the work as she was the older sister and my legs were so short I'm not sure I was able to reach the pedals!) I wonder if Grandma still has it...

I started thinking that a tandem bike would be a SWEET get away "car" at the wedding. However, I'm not about to ride a tandem bike two miles to the hotel in a wedding dress! It would definitely be something you would do for pictures and ride it just around the corner where no one could see where a towncar would be waiting to drive you the rest of the way to the hotel!

I'm going to try to convince Matt that we should rent a tandem bike when we visit South Carolina over July 4th weekend. I already found a place that rents them! What do you think? Fun? Or am I crazy?
