Matt just told me that he thinks our first wedding gift arrived. A package from Macy's arrived with a Wedding Channel sticker on it. What fun!? It's still 5 months until the wedding so this is quite early (though not totally unexpected since I happened to see a few weeks ago that one gift on our registry has already been purchased).
We'll open the package together on Saturday to find out who is so on top of things. How fun!

oooo I didn't know you were even registered actually! Exciting! Where else are you registered? Maybe someone got you something, but also I think Macy's sent us a gift, it was a salad bowl that matched our set. I can't remember why we got it- I seem to remember it being for no real reason. but generous of them.
PS- You can expect my gift up to 2 years late. That's how I roll.
PSS- I'm just kidding. I plan to try to be on top of it. But your bday present is waiting here for you to arrive next week!
on the second thought, I think we got it for fulfilling a full set or something? I don't know. I did some detective work and now I indeed know where you are registered. Are you out of town?
