Wedding Week Details: Marriage License

Matt and I went to get our marriage license on Tuesday before the wedding. When we were packing and planning our outfits for the week, I asked Matt to dress nice for any wedding-related activities. By nice, I said anything nicer than a t-shirt and grubby jeans. (Hopefully that doesn't sound bridezilla-like, we thought it would be a fun way to set the day apart from any other day.) Matt went all out and looked as-handsome-as-can-be all week.
Here he is outside of the Spokane County Courthouse before we got the license.

Here I am outside of the Autitor's office with our official marriage license in hand!

Don't we look happy? We are officially ready to be married!

Celebration was in order so we went out for martinis at Bistango Martini Lounge in downtown Spokane. We had the place to ourselves since apparently it isn't very common to have martinis at 4 pm on a Tuesday.
I ordered the "O Love" martini because it seemed appropriate and Matt ordered the "Mexico" in honor of our honeymoon destination. Both were delicious and a fun way to celebrate our most official milestone before getting married!

One last picture for you - Matt with our little red rental car - not our fave choice of cars but it got us where we needed to be all week!

I just viewed and read your honeymoon and wedding events' BLOGS. I enjoyed seeing the place where y'all honeymooned and how ADORABLE you both look in all of the pictures. These will be priceless memories...esp if/when? you end up irritated (temporarily) with one another. Just go back to the photos of the wedding and the honeymoon, oh and those "cheesy" game playing photos and before long you'll be laughing and snuggling once again. THANKS for SHARING the fun! Love you, MommaM
